i count myself fortunate to have turned a passion into a livelihood. my travels have covered all of china and 16 countries across three continents. the year has had a different beginning. just to put it into perspective, i have been home for over a month, not counting the occasional local trips. during this time at home, i work on writing and organizing my travel memories, writing two articles each day.

a serendipitous encounter with netease blog in 2006 opened the gateway to connecting with the world. through this platform, i documented my experiences and observations. for many years, my writing has found its way to friends who share my wanderlust. by the time the blog closed in 2018, 12 years had passed. throughout that journey, i witnessed the rise and eventual waning of netease blog. what fills me with joy is that the friendships forged during those times have endured, and occasional get-togethers keep those bonds strong.
